Sketchbook 12: Drapery that isn't fabric

Assignment #34: A Triptych that Tells a Story

My idea is to tell a story of someone traveling around the world. I have souvenirs from different countries so I think it would be cool to take a picture of them. I'd be showing how the person traveled from one place to another which tells a story of their journey.

Assignment #32: Mad Photography

The tutorial I chose was "How to Use Leading Lines in Your Photos." In my photograph I decided to capture vertical lines which give a feeling of order and strength. I feel that these leading lines guide the viewer through the photo and it appears as a tunnel. I didn't really no what to expect but I like how my image turned out. I think this tutorial and leading lines really do help adding depth to your photos.

Assignment #31: Hockney

As a photographer, Hockney created photo collages, which he called "'joiners." He felt that these images created a story and as if he could move through them.
